A decentralized global safety network connecting people, public agents and institutions through private evidence and SOS governance.
Panik’s vision connects trusted circles, public agents, institutions and organisations through a global safety network. On-chain evidence, zero-knowledge proofs and Umahn participation support the design for accountable response and private information.
The first app experience is an SOS alert to personal emergency contacts. Location, camera and microphone sharing give them context, with controls for the person asking for help.
Public agents, institutions and organisations can propose roles and connections to the network. Approval is intended to come through SOS governance, with eligible Umahns participating according to their governance weight. Roles need clear capabilities, limits and ways to challenge or revoke approval.
The working design protects encrypted incident media with on-chain commitments and attestations. ZK proofs are intended to support narrow claims about eligibility and permission without exposing the underlying personal data. SOS governance defines the access process; storage, approval thresholds, urgent access and appeals remain to be specified.
Umahn supports distinct participation, Otto coordination and SOS Systems the governance of response and data access. Panik centres urgent safety; Shakrah centres daily reflection. Otto Care focuses on healthcare through its agent, Maya.
